Russian court continues passing sentence to Savchenko
Judges of the court in Russian city of Donetsk continue delivering the verdict to Ukrainian pilot Nadiia Savchenko.
The session of the Donetsk court in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, where the verdict to Ukrainian servicewoman and lawmaker Nadiia Savchenko should be delivered, has started at 10:10 a.m. Moscow time. Even a half of the journalists, who came to attend the trial, succeeded to get into the courthouse, Censor.NETcorrespondent reports from the scene.
The judge continues delivering the verdict.
The trial is attended by lawyers Mark Feigin and Nikolai Polozov as well as Ilya Novikov, who was absent yesterday. Vira Savchenko, Ukrainian President's Spokesperson Sviatoslav Tseholko, members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and foreign diplomats managed to get into the courtroom.
The Ukrainian consuls estimate that there are still about 50 pages of the verdict left to be delivered by the judge.
