Eight Ukrainian soldiers wounded yesterday near Avdiivka, - doctors

Eight Ukrainian soldiers were wounded over the past day in Donetsk sector only.

Most of the wounded come from the industrial zone on the outskirts of Avdiivka, where militants intensified their activity last night, unleashing a sheer hell against Ukrainian defenders.

As a result of the fighting, six soldiers received injuries. Two other soldiers were wounded near Pisky. Injuries are reported as moderate and heavy. After receiving necessary first aid, the wounded were taken to hospital in Dnipropetrovsk.

"Pieces of shrapnel, small fragments injuring mostly body limbs, face. Their lives are out of danger," duty surgeon Volodymyr Kovtuniak said.
