Putin told Obama what Ukraine should do to fulfill Minsk agreements
Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama expressed hope that the new Ukrainian government will begin a direct dialogue with militants in the Donbas.
Сensor.NET informs quoting Kremlin website."During the exchange of views on the situation in Ukraine, Putin expressed hope that with the launch of the new Ukrainian government Kyiv will finally start taking concrete steps for the implementation of the Minsk agreements of Feb. 12, 2015. First of all, in regards to establishing a direct dialogue with the Donbas, offering amnesty, carrying out the constitutional reform, and enacting the special status law agreed with the representatives of Donetsk and Luhansk," the Kremlin press service stated.
As reported, the conversation was initiated by the American side. In addition to Ukraine, the parties also discussed the situation in Syria.
