First Deputy Economy Minister Kovaliv to chair Naftohaz Supervisory Board
First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Yuliia Kovaliv has been elected head of the Naftohaz Ukrainy Supervisory Board.
Censor.NET reports quoting Ministry of Economic Development and Trade press service."The independent Supervisory Board of Naftohaz Ukrainy [Ukraine's major oil and gas operator - ed.] has started its work. At its yesterday's meeting, the board elected chair and formed key committees. The Supervisory Board is now chaired by Yuliia Kovaliv, the first deputy minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine. Board's independent member Paul Warwick was elected her deputy," the press service notes.
As reported, the board's independent members also headed three standing committees: Audit Committee (Charles Proctor), Appointments and Remuneration Committee (Paul Warwick), and Ethics Committe (Marcus Richards).
The said committees will hold a series of meetings on May 11-13.
