36,500 militants fight in Donbas, - General Staff representative Selezniov
Representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladyslav Selezniov said on air of Hromadske.TV, Censor.NET reports.
"At present, there are some 36,500 militants in non-government-controlled territory. Of these, about 6,000 are career Russian military working as instructors and as part of sabotage and reconnaissance groups," Selezniov said.
According to him, "the Russian military are currently undergoing rotation in order to acquire necessary experience in conditions close to combat."
Selezniov also said that Avdiivka remains the hottest spot at the frontline.
