Poroshenko signs law banning privatization of Ukrzaliznytsia

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the bill "On making amendments to the law of Ukraine 'On the list of government property legal objects banned from privatization'," which bans the privatization of major state railway carrier Ukrzaliznytsia.

As reported by Censor.NET, this is announced at the Verkhovna Rada website.

The website reads that the bill No 4594 was returned to the parliament on June 22 with the president's signature.

The bill was voted in the Rada on June 2, 2016, and supported by 250 MPs.
