Court extends Krasnov's arrest until Aug. 22
The Shevchenko district court of Kyiv has extended the arrest of the head of the Azov-Krym civil corps Stanislav Krasnov, suspected of terrorism and espionage for the Russian secret services, until Aug. 22.
Prosecutor Andrii Svatok said to Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET informs."[The arrest] has been extended until Aug. 22," he said.
According to Svatko, Krasnov's lawyer Andrii Mamalyha gave a speech on Friday, and lawyer Oksana Melnyk gave a speech in the night of Friday.
As reported, Stanislav Krasnov is suspected of terrorism and espionage for the Russian secret services. Krasnov himself states that his case is a reprisal against him by the Security Service of Ukraine for participation in energy and trade blockade of Russia-annexed Crimea.
