At least 42 people killed in Turkey coup, - prosecutor's office

42 people, mainly police officers, were killed as a result of attack in the capital of Turkey committed by military takeover plotters.

Earlier, a coup attempt was committed in Turkey on the night of July 16. The Turkish army reportedly attempted to seize control of the country in order to "protect democracy and citizen's rights." President of Turkey Erdogan promised to find and destroy those guilty of 'occupation'.
