Blast at Ukroboronprom testing facility kills three, injures two

Three people were killed, two others received injuries in an explosion at a testing station of the State Scientific Research Institute of Chemical Products, a subsidiary of Ukroboronprom (Ukrainian Defense Industry) State Concern in the Krolevets district, the Sumy region.

Censor.NET reports citing the military prosecutor's office of the Central region press service.

"The explosion occurred on Thursday at about 4:30 p.m. in the territory of the testing station No. 2.

"According to preliminary version, the blast happened during unloading of munitions brought for disposal," the report reads.

As also noted, law enforcers of the Sumy region, including representatives of the military prosecutor's office of the Central region, arrived at the scene.
