OSCE aware of presence of Russian troops in Donbas
The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) has information about the presence of Russian troops in eastern Ukraine. However, it can not arrive at any conclusions.
Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine Alexander Hug announced at a press briefing, Censor.NET reports citing LІGA.net.According to him, the SMM is a civilian rather than armed mission that is intended to report only verified information.
The mission has registered the possession of some specific weapons and ammunition by militants as well as received information about the presence of Russian troops in the occupied territory, Hug stressed.
These are facts that are regularly documented and published on the OSCE website, he noted, adding that conclusions should be made by those who read the reports.
