Japan will continue to help Ukraine, - Zelenskyy after meeting with Prime Minister Takaichi. VIDEO
During an official meeting, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi for Japan’s steadfast support throughout all these years of the Russian war.
He announced this on Telegram, according to Censor.NET.
Energy, sanctions and humanitarian aid
He noted that this relates to energy packages, sanctions decisions and humanitarian projects.

"And it was very important to hear that the aid will continue. We discussed areas where we can be of mutual benefit to one another. Of course, Ukraine is ready to share its experience and technologies on a mutually beneficial basis. Japan also possesses advanced technologies for protecting lives, particularly in air defence, which could help Ukraine get through the coming winter should Russia once again reject negotiations," the Head of State emphasised.
He also invited the Prime Minister to visit Ukraine, and in particular the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which Japan helped to restore following a brutal drone strike by the Russians.
"I am grateful for your leadership in helping to protect lives in Ukraine. Thank you, Japan!" concluded Zelenskyy.
