Russia attacks Kyiv with drones: two killed, 45 injured, two gas stations and warehouse damaged. VIDEO (updated)
On the morning of September 23, 2026, Russian forces continued to attack Kyiv with drones. An air raid alert was issued in the capital. The all-clear was issued at 8:02 a.m.

There are consequences
As reported, a warehouse in the Holosiivskyi District was damaged after being struck by a UAV.
In addition, according to preliminary information, debris fell in an open area between residential buildings in the Solomianskyi District.

Emergency services are heading to the scene," Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
No further details about the consequences of the enemy attack are known at this time.

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, debris fell in an open area at another location in the Solomianskyi District. Details regarding damage and casualties are being verified.
Later, Klitschko reported that a fire broke out at a transportation company in the Solomianskyi District, preliminarily believed to have been caused by an enemy attack.
As of 7:18 a.m., it is known that a gas station in the Holosiivskyi district was damaged after being struck by a UAV.
As of 8:16 a.m., it is known that a gas station in the Darnytskyi district was damaged as a result of an enemy attack.
According to preliminary reports, one person was injured in an enemy attack in the Darnytskyi district.
As Klitschko later reported, there are currently three victims in the capital. All of them have been hospitalized. Two of the injured are in serious condition.
As of 10 a.m., 8 people had been reported injured; one wounded man died in the hospital.
As of 1:05 p.m., two people had been killed in the enemy attack on the capital. One man died in the hospital, and another was killed. Twenty-two city residents were injured. Sixteen injured people are receiving inpatient care at city hospitals.
As of 4:13 p.m., the number of people injured in the capital had risen to 32. Twenty-one of the injured are in city hospitals.
Three injured people are in serious condition. Two people were killed.

At 4:58 p.m., Klitschko reported that the number of people injured had risen to 43. Two people were killed.
At 10:46 p.m., Klitschko reported that the number of people injured in the September 23 attack on Kyiv had risen to 45.
"Eighteen of the wounded are being treated in Kyiv hospitals. Two of them are in serious condition," the mayor said.
