One person has been killed as a result of this morning’s attack by the Russian Federation on Kyiv.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the Kyiv City Military Administration’s press centre.

"Unfortunately, a man who was wounded in today’s enemy attack has died in hospital. We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones," the statement reads.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, eight people were injured in the capital as a result of the enemy attack. One of the injured, who was admitted to hospital in a critical condition, has died. Four injured people are currently being treated in city hospitals.
"The enemy’s drone attack on Kyiv is ongoing," he emphasised.
According to the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office, a 42-year-old man died in hospital following this morning’s drone attack on Kyiv; he had sustained injuries during the shelling of a petrol station in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv.
The final number of casualties and the consequences of the strikes are being established.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As of 13.05, there have already been two casualties from the enemy’s attack on the capital. One man died in the hospital; another was killed.
Twenty-two city residents were injured. Sixteen of the injured are being treated in city hospitals.
What led up to this?
- It was previously reported that Russia had attacked Kyiv with drones: three people were injured, two petrol stations and a warehouse were damaged, and debris fell near houses in the Solomianskyi district.
- Later, Russia attacked Kyiv again: a UAV crashed into a business centre in the Holosiivskyi district.
