Suburban trains are delayed in seven regions due to security situation, - Ukrzaliznytsia
In several regions of Ukraine, commuter train service is experiencing delays due to the security situation. The longest delay at this time is 3 hours and 26 minutes.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
According to the carrier, delays have been reported on routes in the Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions.
Train No. 6851 from Chernihiv to Slavutych has the longest delay—3 hours and 26 minutes.
The following routes are also running late:
- No. 6809 Hrebinka – Kyiv-Volynskyi – 1 hour 51 minutes;
- No. 6501 Korosten – Shepetivka – 1 hour 48 minutes;
- No. 892/891 Fastiv-1 – Slavutych – 1 hour 11 minutes;
- No. 6721 Poltava-Pivdenna – Romodan – 1 hour 7 minutes;
- No. 6513 Kharkiv-Passenger – Gersevanivskyi – 42 minutes;
- No. 6005/6236 Kyiv-Passenger – Myronivka – 36 minutes;
- No. 6450 Korosten – Ovruch – 16 minutes.
Ukrzaliznytsia has warned that train service may be suspended in the event of an increased risk.
Passengers are urged not to wait for trains on the platforms during an air raid alert, but to proceed to the nearest shelters or move to a safe distance from the railway infrastructure—more than 200 meters.
"Train service will resume only once the aerial threat has been eliminated," Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized.
