On the morning of 6 October, Russian invaders attacked a residential area in Sumy with a rocket-propelled drone.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Serhii Kryvosheenko, head of the Sumy Military Administration.
It is reported that the jet-powered UAV struck between the 3rd and 4th floors of a high-rise block in a densely populated neighbourhood of the Zarichnyi district of Sumy.
"Preliminary reports indicate there are two casualties, including a 16-year-old teenager, whose condition is not serious. Further details are being clarified," the statement reads.
The attack caused a fire. A wall, window panes and balcony railings were damaged, as were civilian cars parked nearby.
Windows and doors at a nursery school were also damaged. There are disruptions to the gas supply for residents.
