224 combat engagements in 24 hours: Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 24 attacks in Kostiantynivka sector – General Staff
In total, 224 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole sectors.
According to Censor.NET, this is mentioned in the morning briefing from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike and carried out 74 airstrikes, using 223 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 8,997 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,499 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 39 of which involved multiple-launch rocket systems.
In particular, the following settlements in Sumy Oblast came under enemy fire: Neskuchne, Pysarivka, Pavlivka, Korchakivka, Velyka Rybitsya, Potapivka, Korenok, and Sopych.
Combat operations
Over the past 24 hours, one enemy assault was recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The aggressor carried out two airstrikes using seven guided bombs and fired 161 times at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian units repelled 12 enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near Grafske, Synelnykove, and Volokhivka, as well as toward the settlements of Ternova, Mykolaivka, and Radkivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attempted twice to improve its positions by launching assaults in the areas of Kivsharivka and Novoosynove.
Attempts to breach our defenses were repelled in the Liman sector, where the occupiers launched four attacks in the areas around the settlements of Novoselivka, Stavy, and Dibrova.
On the Slavyansk sector, the enemy launched one attack in the direction of Piskunivka.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 24 attacks were recorded. The invaders carried out offensive operations in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Vilne, as well as in the direction of Kurtivka, Pavlivka, and Mykolaypillya; two more clashes are ongoing.
The enemy carried out sixteen attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around the settlements of Bilytske, Svitle, Krasnopodillia, Myrne, and Molodetske, as well as toward Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, and Serhiivka.
On the Oleksandrivka sector, our defenders repelled one attack by the occupiers in the direction of Ternove.
On the Huliaypillia sector, the occupiers attacked the positions of our defenders 14 times. The enemy attempted to advance in the areas around the settlements of Zlagoda, Ternuvate, Dolynka, and Hirke.
On the Orihiv sector, the enemy made one attempt to attack in the direction of Magdalynivka.
In the Kramatorsk and Dnipro sectors, the occupiers did not carry out any assault operations.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive task forces have been detected.
Strikes Against the Enemy
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ air force, missile forces, and artillery struck two UAV command posts, one area where enemy personnel were concentrated, and three enemy artillery systems.
In total, over the past day, the Russian invaders’ losses amount to 1,830 personnel. Three tanks, four armored fighting vehicles, 47 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, 12 ground-based robotic systems, 1,702 unmanned aerial vehicles, 667 vehicles, six pieces of specialized equipment, and one enemy operational-tactical missile system were neutralized.
