Ukraine always responds in kind – Zelenskyy on strike on Russia’s "Yandex" data center

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed strikes on the data center of the sanctioned Russian IT company and eponymous search engine "Yandex".

He said this while speaking to journalists, Censor.NET reports.

Ukraine's response is in kind

Zelenskyy was asked whether Ukraine could be considered to have launched an operation to destroy Russian data centers, or whether this was merely a warning to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin that the Defense Forces can also attack enemy data centers.

"We certainly can too. We always respond in kind. Data centers — you all know they have struck and continue to strike our data centers. We responded. I cannot disclose all the details," the head of state replied.

The president recalled the latest Russian attacks on the cities of Pryluky and Kramatorsk and stressed that "Ukraine certainly does not retaliate against children".

"It does not and never will. But adults will soon receive specific responses. No details," Zelenskyy concluded.

Background
