Ukraine and US prepare Drone Deal: NSDC discusses defense cooperation

Deputy Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Davyd Aloian met with representatives of the US Embassy to discuss preparations for the Drone Deal agreement, the development of defense industry cooperation and the expansion of Ukrainian arms exports.

Deputy Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Davyd Aloian met with representatives of the United States Embassy in Ukraine, including the head of the Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) program.
The parties discussed the development of Ukrainian-American cooperation in the defense industry, preparations for the Drone Deal agreement between Ukraine and the US, and the creation of conditions for cooperation between defense companies.
NSDC discusses expansion of Ukrainian arms exports
Particular attention was paid to the development of Ukrainian arms exports. Davyd Aloian briefed the partners on the priorities of the Interagency Commission on Military and Technical Cooperation and improvements to export procedures.
Ukrainian manufacturers participate in Drone Dominance program
Davyd Aloian also highlighted Ukrainian companies' participation in US Department of Defense programs, including Drone Dominance.
"This takes the partnership between our countries to a new level. We are grateful to the United States for its trust. For its part, Ukraine is interested in developing a mutually beneficial partnership, both between states and among defense companies," Aloian said.
The NSDC continues to engage with international partners to expand defense industry cooperation, attract investment and strengthen the capabilities of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
