Trump stated that Putin is "resolutely seeking resolution" to war in Ukraine, and praised him for cheap oil
Following the diesel deal with Russia, US President Donald Trump has claimed that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is allegedly seeking a resolution to the war in Ukraine.
He made these remarks in comments to journalists, according to Censor.NET, citing Clash Report.
On the war in Ukraine
"He would like to see a settlement. President Putin is determined to achieve a settlement," Trump asserts.
"Well, I think Russia would like to reach a deal. But, as I’ve said before, this is something that could have been resolved many times, but for some reason Zelenskyy doesn’t want to reach a deal," the US president stated.
On diesel supplies
He also praised the Russian dictator for his willingness to supply diesel to the US and global markets.
"Putin is releasing a lot of oil onto the world market, you see? That’s good. And, by the way, at a very low price," added Trump.
