France unreservedly supports the call for energy truce, - Macron

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has stated that France supports the call for a genuine energy truce, to which Ukraine is prepared.
According to Censor.NET, Macron posted this on the social media platform X on Sunday.
Macron: France supports an energy truce for Ukraine
According to the French President, Russia continues to refuse to agree to an energy truce. At the same time, Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure have intensified even further over the last few hours.
"France unreservedly supports the call for a genuine energy truce, to which Ukraine is prepared," Macron emphasised.
He also gave assurances that France would continue to support Ukraine and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"France will continue to support Ukraine and President Zelenskyy," said the French leader.
What led up to it
- On the previous Sunday, 11 October, US President Donald Trump announced the start of an energy truce between Ukraine and Russia.
