Starlink operations were restricted last night, number of important missions were disrupted

On the night of 14 October, the operation of ‘Starlink’ terminals was restricted. As a result, important missions were disrupted.
This was reported by volunteer Serhii Sternenko, according to Censor.NET.
What is known?
"The operation of Starlink terminals was restricted last night. Whilst travelling at speeds exceeding 160 km/h, the connection began to drop out. As a result, a number of important missions were disrupted.
It is likely that SpaceX took these measures at the request of the Trump administration," the statement reads.
At the same time, standard satellite communication terminals are currently operational, Sternenko added.
Serhii Beskrestnov, an advisor to President Zelenskyy, confirmed the information.
"Last night, SpaceX imposed a speed limit on Starlink terminals while in motion.
Currently, the restriction applies to the "military package" of StarShield services and is set at 100 miles per hour.
Our defense forces did not receive any warning about this restriction, and this led to the disruption of a number of missions. It is clear that this action cannot be a coincidence and is linked to the current political situation," he explained.
