Europe should open remaining negotiating clusters; this would send powerful signal to Ukrainian people, - Prime Minister of Ireland

He was asked whether Europe was left on its own regarding support for Ukraine amid tensions in its relations with the United States.
"No, Europe is not alone. Recently, we have seen other countries drawing closer to Europe. Canada and the United Kingdom are working closely with the European Union on Ukraine," Martin replied.
At the same time, the prime minister of Ireland stated that Europe must do what it can.
"Europe must reaffirm its intention to open all negotiation chapters in response to Ukraine's application for EU membership. This would send a strong signal to Ukrainians that Europe is truly moving their country forward on the path to membership," he concluded.
What led up to this?
- It was previously reported that Budapest is ready to unblock the start of negotiation clusters on Ukraine’s accession to the EU, but is making a demand. The key condition set by the Hungarian side is ensuring the rights of national communities.
- On October 12, the Rada passed a bill on education for national minorities.
- It later became known that the European Union member states had unanimously agreed to open negotiation clusters No. 2 and No. 3 for Ukraine. They plan to announce this decision on Tuesday.
