"Russia continues its bloody terror. The shop has been partially destroyed and cars have been damaged. Three people have been injured. All the necessary emergency services are on the scene, providing assistance to the victims," the message reads.

According to the president, it is important that our partners help us defend ourselves against this.

"In fact, residential buildings, shops, the energy sector and other critical infrastructure are under constant attack. There is not a single hour of peace. What is happening is a telling reaction by Russia to the signals it is receiving from America. Unfortunately, these are dangerous signals regarding the possible further lifting of sanctions.

These sanctions were imposed by the world, by America, by Europe, by our partners. Sanctions for aggression against Ukraine, for the war against us. Nothing has changed; the war has not stopped. The sanctions must not be lifted. Russia must end the slaughter that it itself began and has been continuing for 1,695 days now. More money for killings will not help this. Strength is needed, and America is stronger than Russian terror," he concluded.

What led up to this?

  • A video has been published online showing the moment a Russian "Shahed" kamikaze drone struck the "Tavria V" supermarket in the village of Maiaky in the Odesa region. A CCTV camera captured a powerful explosion on the premises of the retail outlet.
