Russian occupying forces attacked Rivne and the surrounding region overnight.

This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval, according to Censor.NET.

"Unfortunately, there has been damage to civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings.

Relevant services are currently working at the sites of the strikes.

It later emerged that seven people sought medical attention following the attack in Rivne. None have been hospitalized so far.

The head of the Regional Military Administration also stated that the Russians had attacked one of the major retail establishments.

The State Emergency Service showed the aftermath of the Russian attack.

The enemy continued to attack Ukraine on the night of 16 October. Explosions were heard in Lutsk, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk and Cherkasy. In Kyiv, air raid alerts were sounded several times during the night due to the threat of Russian drones.
