Success of Operation "Vivaldi" eases situation across all sectors of front – Butusov

The Third Army Corps' successful offensive operation "Vivaldi" in the northern Donetsk region has significantly eased the situation in many sectors of the front.
Yurii Butusov, UAV company commander in the 23rd Assault Regiment, part of the National Guard's 2nd Khartiia Corps, said this during a broadcast hosted by journalist Iryna Romaliiska, Censor.NET reports.
Impact of Operation "Vivaldi" on other sectors of the front
The commander said the Defence Forces' effective counteroffensive operations had inflicted losses on the enemy and disrupted its plans in other sectors.
"Successful operations to rout an enemy offensive force undoubtedly deplete its manpower. They force the enemy to concentrate its firepower, aircraft, UAVs, artillery and personnel reinforcements for assault units on that particular sector, where its losses are greatest. So, certainly, when an offensive is underway, Operation 'Vivaldi' has significantly eased the situation across all sectors of the front. In some sectors within the area of operations of the Russian Armed Forces' 'West' grouping, the enemy was simply forced to commit all available reserves there to hold the line and prevent further offensive action and further advances by our troops," Butusov said.
He added that the occupiers were now committing all their forces to recapture positions from which Ukrainian defenders had driven them out.
"Everything has been committed there to approach Lyman and Sviatohirsk again — a town Putin announced had already been captured. In other words, they are now trying to make good on the commitments they have made," the commander concluded.
