"Kyiv: emergency power cuts have been implemented due to constant shelling of the power grid," the statement reads.
It also notes that power company staff are working to repair damaged equipment whenever the security situation allows.
"We are doing everything possible to restore power to Kyiv residents’ homes as quickly as possible," DTEK added.
