Three boys brought to safety from occupied Kherson region

Three boys aged between 11 and 17 have been brought back from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region to Ukrainian-controlled territory.

Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin reported this, according to Censor.NET.

What is known

Among them is a 13-year-old boy who endured daily terror. Russian combat drones deliberately hunted civilians in his city. He was also forced to attend a Russian school under threat of his parents being stripped of their parental rights. There, he was subjected to enemy propaganda and forced to draw Russian soldiers and take ideological tests.

He and the other two boys are now safe and receiving the assistance they need.

246 children already brought back

Prokudin said the children’s return was facilitated by the charity Save Ukraine under the Ukrainian president’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative.

A total of 246 children have been brought back from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region since the beginning of 2026.
