Regiment in day: Defence forces have eliminated over 16,000 Russians in week. This is all-time record since start of war, – General Staff

Special Operations Forces carried out a ’middle-strike’ operation, destroying key enemy targets in Crimea and the Zaporizhzhia region

The first week of November was the most successful for Ukrainian soldiers since the start of the full-scale invasion. Over the course of seven days, from 1 to 7 November, the Russian aggressor lost 16,130 troops – a new all-time record for the war.

This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the General Staff’s press centre.

Elimination of Russian forces

In fact, as noted, every day the Ukrainian Defence Forces neutralise enough personnel to form an average Russian motorised rifle regiment.

"The figures speak for themselves: on average, over 2,300 occupiers every day, or nearly a hundred every hour. The Russian command continues to throw soldiers into senseless ‘meat grinder’ assaults, whilst the Ukrainian Defence Forces are methodically and effectively doing their job – defending the country from Russian aggression. The fight continues," the General Staff emphasises.

What led up to this?

It was previously reported that, since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian Defence Forces have wounded and eliminated 1,606,400 Russian occupiers.
