Verkhovna Rada dismisses more than 500 judges

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has dismissed more than 500 judges on its Thursday session.

This was announced by Censor.NET citing the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

The message on the website reads that a number of bills stipulating for judges' dismissal have been adopted by MPs.

Those dismissed include Kakhovka district court of the Kherson region Oleh Kriukovskyi due to a guilty verdict entering into force against him; 12 judges of the Donetsk region due to their violation of oath; 16 judges of the Supreme Administrative Court, and seven judges of the Supreme Court.

After the voting, the morning session of the parliament was closed.
