Russian militants attacked Ukrainian troops’ positions near Marinka, Starohnativka, Avdiivka, Novooleksandrivka, mortar-shelled Zaitseve, - Staff

Eight attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian defenders were recorded from midnight to 6 p.m. Sept. 21.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

The latest update reads: "The militants violated truce by providing harassing fire with grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms on the outskirts of Marinka and Starohnativka at Mariupol direction.

"At Donetsk section of the front, the enemy employed grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms in the vicinity of Avdiivka. In addition, the occupants shelled Zaitseve with 120 mm mortars.

"At Luhansk direction, the enemy committed armed provocations near Novooleksandrivka. The militants used small arms there.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine strictly observe the Minsk agreements," the Staff stressed.
