190 National Guard fighters died for Homeland, - Poroshenko
190 military of the National Guard of Ukraine have died since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine in 2014.
As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, this was announced by President Petro Poroshenko at a ceremony of distributing apartment certificates to personnel of the National Guards."190 fighters of the National Guard gave their lives for their homeland," he said.
The attendees to the ceremony observed a moment of silence to commemorate the killed military.
Earlier, the National Guards of Ukraine received an observer status in the Association of Mediterranean and European Gendarmeries (FIEP).
