Ukraine has fulfilled necessary criteria for visa-free travel, - Tusk

Petro Poroshenko and Donald Tusk exchanged views on the ratification of the EU-Ukraine association deal. Tusk expressed support for Ukraine and said the agreement must remain in force.

The European Council president emphasized that Ukraine had fulfilled all the criteria for visa liberalization with the EU.

The EU must complete certain internal procedures to grant Ukrainians the right to travel to Europe without visas, he added.

The parties agreed to continue intensive coordination at the highest level.
