Poroshenko awards 109 ATO soldiers, 26 of them posthumously
The servicemen awarded by the president performed tasks in the Mariupol sector, and near Zaitseve and Avdiivka.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree on awarding 109 ATO soldiers, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the presidential administration.26 soldiers were awarded posthumously. Five of the fallen servicemen were awarded with the "Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi" third class, 21 others were decorated with the "Order for Courage" third class.
83 awarded soldiers got wounds in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area. They were decorated with the "Defender of the Motherland" medal.
