NSDC's Turchynov: elections in Donbas only possible after territory freed
National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov is sure that elections in Donetsk should not differ from elections in Sloviansk or Mariupol as the country has got a defined and effective election formula developed in accordance with Ukraine's legislation and Constitution.
He said it in an interview with LB.ua, Censor.NET reports."Ukraine has to drive Putin's scum beyond its territory. And not only in the Donbas but also in Crimea. This is what Ukraine needs. And at some stage, elections will take place. But only after this harmful tumor is removed. Then we can conduct elections, sing songs and walk the streets safely. I say it again, elections are the final, the last stage of freeing the territory," Turchynov said.
