Turkish Stream pipeline deal endorsed by Turkey's parliament
The Turkish parliament has ratified an agreement with Russia on the construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.

As reported by Haber Turk TV channel, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey voted on Dec. 1 210 in favor of the agreement, with only seven opposing and six abstentions. On Nov. 29, the agreement was approved by the Turkish Parliament's Foreign Relations Commission.
The endorsement comes just days before Prime Minister Binali Yildirim's official visit to Moscow on Dec. 6 to talk the cooperation between Turkey and Russia. The program of the visit includes meetings with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and President Vladimir Putin.
