US Congress approved allocation of $350M of military aid to Ukraine
U.S. House of Representatives approved a bill on military aid to allocate to Ukraine.
The total U.S. military assistance to Ukraine in 2017 is planned in the amount of $350,000,000, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraina.The total U.S. budget for 2017 amounts to $618.7 billion.
Consideration of the bill in the Senate is scheduled for the next week.
Earlier, the lower house of the U.S. Congress approved the allocation for the Pentagon in the coming fiscal year of $3.42 billion in the framework of the European Reassurance Initiative. It is planned to shift to the preferential support of European partners and allies ''to deter the Russian Federation''.
