Bomb attack in Istanbul: death toll reached 38

A number of people killed in the two blasts in Istanbul rose to 38. This was announced by Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, Censor.NET reports citing AFP.

The blasts outside the Istanbul stadium "Vodafone Arena" (home arena of the Turkish soccer club "Besiktas") came two hours after a football match between "Besiktas" and "Bursaspor". According to the authorities, most victims are the police officers.

It was reported that a car bomb was set off remotely. The second blast came as police surrounded a suicide bomber in the nearby Macka park.
