"Przemyśl turns into town of provocations," Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Piekło on nationalist march
Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Piekło believes the anti-Ukrainian slogans chanted during the annual “Przemysl and Lviv eagles” march held by Polish patriotic and nationalist organizations in the town of Przemyśl on Dec. 10 will not damage the Ukrainian-Polish relations.
He told a press briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny."The current situation shows that Przemyśl turns into a town of provocations, just pure provocations... They triggered the things the provocateurs wanted them to: everyone is saying that the Polish-Ukrainian relations are harmful. They are actually not so bad. There are about a million Ukrainians in Poland. They work, invest, and there is no problem at all," Piekło said.
The ambassador added that Ukraine was working hard to promote the European values.
