Rada adopts amendments to Budget Code
As reported by Censor.NET, the bill was supported by 244 lawmakers.
The explanatory note reads that the document brings the provisions of the Budget Code in line with the education, healthcare and social sector funding reforms. In particular, the amendments concern funding of schools at the expense of local budgets. However, the teachers' salaries will be paid by central government at the expense of the state budget subventions.
The document also stipulates that support to agricultural producers and travel privileges will be also covered at the expense of the local budgets.
