Shyrokyne hit by tanks, IFVs and 122 mm artillery, - ATO Staff

26 attacks by Russian hybrid troops have been recorded in the anti-terrorist operation area during the day.

"In the Mariupol sector, Shyrokyne came under three tank attacks. 122 mm artillery and IFV fire was registered as well. The enemy employed mortars of various calibers to shell Talakivka and Shyrokyne. Using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns, militants hit Shyrokyne, Marinka, Pavlopil and Vodiane.

"In order to prevent losses, the Ukrainian military had to open fire in response in the area of Shyrokyne.

"In the Donetsk sector, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms were used against Avdiivka, Zaitseve and Luhanske," the report notes.
