''We should unite for future", - Hroisman on Day of Unity

The prime minister reminded that the strength of the state is in the unity of the people.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman congratulated Ukrainian people on the Day of Unity, Censor.NET reports citing the PM's Facebook.

"We celebrate the Day of Unity of Ukraine today! This day 98 years ago the Unification Act was signed on the Sofiivska Square in Kyiv. The Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western-Ukrainian People's Republic united under one flag. Since then, Jan. 22 is a national holiday'', he wrote.

''Every year it gets more and more symbolic, because we need to unite more than ever, for the sake of the future, for the sake of independent and free Ukraine. We should always remember that our strength is in the unity!" Hroisman wrote.
