"Ukraine is able to counterattack," - Poroshenko on Russian cyberattacks
Ukraine is capable to retaliate Russia's cyberattacks.
This was said by President Poroshenko, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN."Russia conducts cyberattacks not only against Ukraine, and this has been confirmed. We have a very strong cyberunit, and this makes Ukraine capable of counterattacks," he said.
"Ukraine is not the only target of the cyberattacks. All European countries and the United States are the targets of the cyberattacks, and they are an element of the hybrid war," the head of the state said.
On Jan. 6, the U.S. intelligence agency published a declassified version of a highly classified assessment of Russian activities and intentions in recent U.S. elections. The agency assessed that the Kremlin was trying to influence the U.S. election in favor of Donald Trump by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to the president-elect.
