Russian militants shelled Avdiivka with heavy artillery, tanks today, - Staff

The positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces came under 37 attacks as at 6 p.m. Jan. 30.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

"The Russian occupation forces repeatedly employed 152 and 122 mm artillery, 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms against Avdiivka, Novotroitske, Luhanske, Nevelske and Opytne in Donetsk direction. Pisky and Avdiivka were shelled with tanks during the day.

"The invaders shelled Vodiane village in Mariupol direction with 152 mm artillery. Krasnohorivka and Lebedynske came under mortar strikes. Pavlopil, Talakivka, Hnutove, Shyrokyne and Vodiane were fired upon with grenade launchers and small arms," the situation report reads.
