Cherkasy police freed three children locked in apartment. PHOTOS

Three children aged between two and six years stayed in an empty apartment for a few days.

Cherkasy juvenile police officers were reported on screaming and crying children in one of the apartments in Cherkasy city, Censor.NET reports citing National Police Department in Cherkasy.

The police arrived and opened the metal door of the apartment with the special equipment.

The police officers found the ragged walls, musty air and three young children aged from two to six years inside.

The older girl was feeding the younger brother and sister with water and sugar, as there was no other food left in the apartment. When sugar was over, the children began to cry for help.

The police officers called an ambulance, washed and fed children with the help of the neighbors. Doctors examined the children and took them to a local hospital, where they would pass the medical examination.

At the moment, the police is trying to find the mother of the children.
