BBC Caribbean crew, kidnapped by pirates, is out of danger

At the same time, there is no information about the crew whereabouts.

Life of BBC Caribbean sailors, kidnapped by the pirates, is out of danger, Censor.NET reports citing Twitter of the Consular Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"The state of the kidnapped BBC Caribbean crew members is satisfactory. There in no threat to their life or health," the statement reads.

On Feb. 8, the pirates have kidnapped seven Russians and one Ukrainian after attacking the cargo ship the BBC Caribbean off the coast of Nigeria. The general cargo vessel BBC Caribbean is managed by Briese Schiffahrts.
