Militants shelled Ukrainian positions nine times today, – Matiukhin
Last night, the Russian hybrid forces fired at the Ukrainian positions in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone nine times.
This was announced by the ATO Staff spokesperson Leonid Matiukhin, Censor.NET reports citing 112 TV Channel."This night wasn't calm because the militants used mortars, particularly in Pavlopil. They have also fired at Vodiane, Shyrokyne and Pavlopil from grenade launchers and small arms," he said.
"In the Donetsk sector, the militants mortared Verkhniotoretske and Avdiivka. Novoselivka Druha, Kamianka and Avdiivka were fired from grenade launchers and small arms," the press-officer said.
According to Matiukhin, nine cases of shelling were recorded as of 8:00 a.m.
No Ukrainian soldier was killed or wounded, he added. The ATO forces have not responded to the militants' attacks.
On Feb. 11, the militants fired at the ATO forces' positions 59 times. Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded.
