Russia's Permanent Representative to UN Churkin dies at 64
Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the U.N. Vitaly Churkin died in New York the day before his 65th birthday.
Censor.NET reports referring to Russia's Foreign Ministry press office."The outstanding Russian diplomat passed away while at work. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Vitaly Churkin," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Vitalii Churkin has served as Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations since April 8, 2006.
