Ukraine’s president declares national mourning over Stepova mine tragedy

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expressed condolences to the relatives of the perished miners.

The head of state wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"I express my condolences to the friends and relatives of miners killed in explosion at the mine in the Lviv region. I have signed a decree declaring the all-Ukrainian mourning," Poroshenko said.

As reported, eight miners died as explosion rocked Stepova mine in the Lviv region today.
