President Poroshenko meets Chancellor Merkel in Malta

The two leaders are seeing each other on the sidelines of the European People's Party Congress.

A meeting between Ukraine's President Petro O. Poroshenko and Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel took off on the sidelines of the European People's Party Congress in Malta, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

Poroshenko is visiting Malta on March 29-30 by invitation of the EPP president. Earlier, he expressed hopes during the meeting with the EPP leader for positive voting on visa-free travel for Ukrainians.
