Ukraine marks 500 days without Russian gas, - Naftohaz

The national joint-stock company Naftohaz of Ukraine (Oil and Gas of Ukraine) says it is exactly 500 days Ukraine has not imported natural gas from Russia, Censor.NET reports citing the company's press service.
Ukraine stopped importing Russian gas on Nov. 25, 2015.

The decision to halt gas imports was taken after a relevant order by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The reason behind the order was an inadequately high price of gas.
